Editorial: La Visita del Presidente Abinader a Montecristi fue fructífera

Montecristi en los últimos años ha sido objeto de importancia, en materia de visitas por parte de los mandatarios dominicanos.
Danilo Medina llegó a visitar la Provincia en unas 30 ocasiones, aproximadamente, y ahora el Presidente Luis Abinader lo ha hecho en ocasiones reiteradas.
Esta Provincia tiene mucho potencial no explotado y el primer mandatario lo sabe.
También sabe lo complicada que es políticamente, pues los dirigentes nunca se saben poner de acuerdo sobre ejes comunes.
Además de conversar con el pueblo el Presidente se instaló en un dialogo a puertas cerradas con la dirigencia política de su partido el PRM, eso es bien visto desde ese ángulo pues ayudaría a que los dirigentes planteen las quejas partidarias existentes en torno a la incorporación de los miembros de ese partido al gobierno.
Se anunciaron varias obras, entre ellas la más significativa, de llegar a concretarse, es el Hospital Municipal de Villa Vásquez.
Este municipio tiene años sin hospital, a pesar de tener una población bastante amplia (unas 30 mil personas).
Igualmente el presidente conversó con los salineros, que son un pulmón económico para la economía del Municipio cabecera.
Ellos necesitan del apoyo estatal para poder continuar en sus labores y seguir colaborando con el desarrollo económico de Montecristi.
En términos generales podríamos decir que la visita fue fructífera.
